The role joins an existing team, which includes front and backend talents. As a front-end developer, you will work closely with the design team to deliver new projects, ongoing improvements and bug fixes.

PHP is the magical ingredient, you’ll need to be familiar with the open source PHP ecosystem and common frameworks/components. We use a variety of tech, including HTML5, Sass, WordPress, “headless” CMSs like Directus, css animations and transitions, MySQL, Javascript, Laravel, git repos, you get the idea. You don’t have to be a genius with all these, but having a working knowledge will play a huge advantage. And of course, we’re open to new technologies to help us adapt and stay current and relevant.

In our fast-paced environment you’ll need a keen eye for detail, the ability to spot a rogue div tag from 20m away, and know your flexbox from your npm. Clear communication is essential to ensure that the end result meets our clients expectations.

Interview procedure:

1. Send CV, covering letter and ideally, links to examples of your code/work
2. If successful, we will then conduct a 20 minute phone call at a convenient time
3. If successful, we would then like to meet in-person at our studio in Poole Quay

Stage 2 and 3 will also give you the opportunity to ask us any questions about the role or the business in general.
